What is urine pH and why does it matter?
Urine pH measures how acidic or alkaline your dog's pee is on a scale from 0 to 14. For dogs, a healthy pH range is typically between 6.5 and 7.0. When your dog's urine pH goes outside this range, it can signal potential health issues like urinary tract infections or other health issues before you see any symptoms.

How our color-changing technology works
Our patent-pending indicator reacts to the pH level in your dog's urine. When pH is outside the healthy range, the pad spot turns purple and stays for a few hours. Follow these four easy steps for peace of mind:

1. Green side of pad goes up
Place the pad on the floor with the green side (the printed side with the indicator) facing up. Make sure it's smooth and wrinkle-free so your pup has a comfortable, stable surface.

2. Let your pup pee and check the pee spot
After your dog pees, check the wet spot. No rush—the color lasts for hours, so you can check when it's convenient for you.

3. No purple? That's healthy pee
If you don't see any color change, that means your dog's urine pH is in the healthy range. You can go about your day with peace of mind.

4. Purple spot?
If the spot turns purple, their urine pH might be off. Keep monitoring for a day or two. If it stays purple, consult your vet.
