Here's the nerdy part (and we're here for it): A big reason these pads are so absorbent is in the ink we use through the design to make the pattern. It’s loaded with ingredients that actively work to pull pee in so you don't have to worry about leaks.

We offer five sizes because one size does not fit all dogs (or homes).

Large - 22”x22”: Great for smaller dogs.. Yes, "Large" is actually the smallest size (it's a pee pad industry thing; we didn't make the rules). This size delivers serious absorbency in a compact footprint.

XL - 26”x30”: Perfect for medium sized dogs who need a little more room to work with.

XXL (30”x36”), 3XL (36”x36”, and 4XL (36”x46”): Designed for larger breeds, multiple dogs, or litters of puppies. These sizes give you maximum coverage and absorbency for the biggest messes and the biggest pups.

Still not sure? Think about your dog's size, how much space you have, and whether you're dealing with one pup or a pack. When in doubt, go bigger. Your floors will thank you.

It's as simple as finding a good spot and letting your pup do their thing.

Find the right spot
Choose a location where your dog already does their business or where you'd like to train them to go. Consistent placement helps with training and keeps cleanup predictable.

Lay it flat
Place the pad on the floor with the printed side facing up. Make sure it's smooth and wrinkle-free so your pup has a comfortable, stable surface.

Replace as needed
For best results and maximum freshness, replace the pad once it's saturated. With our absorbency power, you might be surprised how long one pad lasts.

Dispose responsibly
Roll up the used pad, seal it (we recommend a small trash bag), and toss it in the garbage. Not flushable, but easy to manage.

Pro tip: Keep a few extra pads nearby so you're always ready for accidents, training sessions, or those “did not expect that” moments that come with dog parenting.

How absorbent are Smart Print Dog Pads?

Oh, you’d be surprised! Thanks to our Smart Ink™ technology that actively pulls moisture into the pad, they hold up to a full 6 cups of liquid (spoiler alert: that’s a lot!) .  The cleaning ingredients in the ink have advanced wicking power, so pee gets locked in fast and stays there.

How does Smart Ink™ make these pads different from regular dog pads?

Smart Ink™ is the game-changer. It's not just about looking good (though, just look at them!)). The ink contains ingredients that boost absorbency, micro-encapsulated odor neutralizers and a fragrance that releases gradually when stepped on or when urine soaks in. Translation: this pad looks better, works better and smells better. 

What size pee pad should I buy for my dog?

It depends on your dog's size and your space. Large pads work for smaller dogs  and puppies. XL is great for medium-sized dogs. XXL, 3XL, and 4XL are designed for larger dogs, multiple dogs, or litters of puppies. When in doubt, size up for better coverage.

Are Smart Print pee pads good to use for puppies?

Absolutely. Our pads are designed with next-level absorbency and natural enzymatic odor eliminators, making them ideally suited for all dogs, including puppies, to help them with house training or for ongoing indoor use. How often should I change the pad?

Thanks to the absorbency of this pad, one pad can last longer than you'd expect. But for maximum freshness, just go by how often your dog goes. We recommend setting your subscription to every 2 weeks to make sure you always have enough on hand.

Do Smart Print pee pads have a strong scent?

Nope. We design our fragrances to please sensitive noses and snouts. The Sweet Bluegrass scent is subtle and releases gradually through micro-encapsulation. It's designed to never overwhelm your space. Most dog parents specifically mention that they love how  it's present, but not overpowering.

Can I use these pee pads for multiple dogs?

Yes! Our larger sizes (XXL, 3XL, and 4XL) are specifically designed for multiple dogs or high-traffic use. Just make sure to replace the pad once it reaches max capacity to maintain freshness and effectiveness.
