What makes our wipes perfect for eyes + ears

Hypoallergenic formula that soothes while it cleans
The combination of Cucumber Extract, Oat Kernel Extract, and Chamomile actively calms irritation and soothes sensitive skin around eyes and ears as you wipe. Cucumber provides natural anti-inflammatory benefits. Oat kernel extract reduces itching and redness. Chamomile brings its gentle, calming properties. Together, these ingredients clean effectively while making your dog feel better, not worse.

Completely fragrance free
We left out fragrance entirely because eyes and ears don't need scents anywhere near them.

Plant-derived cleansers that work gently
We use decyl glucoside, lauryl glucoside, and sodium lauryl glucose carboxylate, plant-derived cleansers that effectively lift dirt, wax, and tear stains without the stripping or irritation that comes from harsher chemical cleansers. It's the same type of mild surfactant used in baby products, because when you're cleaning around eyes and ears, it’s all about gentle care.

A formula with natural odor eliminators
If your dog's ears have that musty smell or their tear stains smell sour, the saccharomyces ferment filtrate in our wipes tackles the actual odor-causing bacteria, not just the symptoms.

Moisturizing ingredients prevent dryness
Glycerin and aloe leaf juice
hydrate the delicate skin around eyes and ears as you clean. This prevents the tight, dry feeling (and subsequent irritation) that happens when you clean an area and strip away all moisture.

Tested by real dog parents in real homes
Every Pet Life Unlimited product gets tested through our PetParent Lab™.  Actual dog parents use these wipes on their own dogs and tell us what works (and what doesn't). They're the ones who confirmed that fragrance-free matters, that the soothing botanicals make a difference, and that this size works better for face cleaning than larger wipes.

How to use

For ears
Use a fresh wipe for each ear. Wipe the outer ear and visible inner folds to lift away wax, dirt, and debris. Never reach down into the ear canal—you're cleaning what you can see, not probing deep. If you're noticing excessive wax or head shaking, that's a vet conversation.

For eyes
Take a fresh wipe and wipe around the eye, moving from the inside corner outward. This removes tear stains, dried discharge, and accumulated gunk. You're cleaning around the eye, not in it, so never wipe the eyeball itself. Heavy staining may need daily wiping for a week or two before you see it lighten.

Use fresh wipes per area
Don't stretch one wipe across both eyes and both ears. Eyes get one wipe. Each ear gets its own wipe. This prevents cross-contamination between different areas of your dog's face.

Make it routine
Keep these wipes somewhere accessible like next to their leash, on the counter, wherever you'll actually remember to use them regularly.

Why this size works so well

Whether you have a Chihuahua or a Great Dane, 7" x 6" is the ideal size for precision cleaning your pup’s ears and eyes. Larger wipes get awkward and bunchy when you're working around small, delicate areas. This size gives you enough material to grip and maneuver without excess bulk getting in the way.

One container = 30 wipes. With regular use (daily eye cleaning plus weekly ear maintenance), one container typically lasts about a month per dog.

FAQ

Can I use these wipes every day?
Yes, absolutely. The hypoallergenic, fragrance-free formula is safe for daily use. The soothing botanicals (cucumber, oat, chamomile) actually help calm skin, so daily use can be beneficial for dogs prone to irritation around their eyes and ears.

Are these wipes safe for puppies?
Yes. Puppies can use these wipes from day one. The hypoallergenic, plant-derived formula with calming botanicals is safe for dogs of all ages and breeds. Starting early helps puppies get comfortable with having their face touched and cleaned, which makes grooming easier as they grow up.

Will these remove tear stains?
These wipes remove existing tear stains and help prevent new ones from forming. For light staining, you'll see improvement after a few days of regular use. Heavier staining takes longer—usually consistent daily cleaning for a week or two before you notice the stains lightening. The key is regular use because tear staining is an ongoing thing, not a one-time problem. These wipes clean away the tears and discharge before they have time to oxidize and create those rusty-brown stains.

Can I use one wipe for both eyes and both ears?
Eyes and ears have different bacteria, and you don't want to transfer potential issues from one area to another. If you're cleaning only eyes or only ears, one wipe is fine. But don't mix eye cleaning and ear cleaning with the same wipe.

What if my dog has an ear infection or eye infection?
If your dog is showing signs of infection—redness, swelling, discharge that's yellow or green, excessive scratching, odor, squinting, or pawing at their face—see your vet. Once your vet has treated the infection and cleared your dog, these wipes can help maintain cleanliness and prevent future buildup.

My dog hates having their face touched. Any tips?
Go slow and make it worth their while. Let them sniff the wipe first. Begin with quick, gentle wipes and immediately follow with a treat. Do this consistently, and they'll start to tolerate (or even accept) face cleaning as part of the routine. Some dogs do better if you clean their face right after a walk when they're tired. Others prefer cleaning time to happen during calm moments at home. Figure out what works for your dog and stick with that pattern so they know what to expect.

Are these wipes flushable?
No. These wipes won't break down in your plumbing the way toilet paper does. Toss used wipes in the trash.

Do these wipes expire?
They don't have a hard expiration date, but we recommend using them within 12 months of opening for best performance.
